Content:
The module comprises either an excursion to a region in Western or Central Asia or to a museum with relevant collections. An accompanying seminar introduces the sites/monuments of the region/museum, which are visited and studied on site.

Learning objectives:
Students receive an overview of the monuments and sites of a museum or region of Western Asia and acquire indepth knowledge of the material culture, history and geography on site through the original finds or the visit to the sites.

Examination:
presentation (approx. 30 minutes)
