Kathrin Holz presented new results from the Proto‑Śāradā Project at the 2025 Annual Conference of the Eurasian Transformationsprogramme at the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW). The meeting, titled “Imperial Dynamics, Borderlands, and Resistance: Entangled Worlds of Afro‑Eurasia”, brought together scholars working on imperial interactions, frontier regions, and long‑term connectivity across the Afro‑Eurasian sphere.
