Hindi-Urdu Summer School 2026

Three-week intensive course in spoken and written Hindi and Urdu (31.8.2026 - 18.9.2026)

Beginners

This course offers joint classes aimed at providing basic knowledge of both Hindi and Urdu writing systems, combined with oral skills in Hindi-Urdu as a single spoken language.

Advanced

Participants will consolidate and expand their knowledge and hone their communication skills on the basis of their previous knowledge of either language. At the same time, opportunity will be given to get acquainted with either the devnagari (Hindi) and/or the nastaliq (Urdu) script at beginners’ level.

• Exchange with Pakistani and Indian lecturers and doctoral students

400€ (250€ for Ca’ Foscari students)
