Research Focus
Lower Mesopotamia during the 3rd millennium BC, with a particular focus on ceramic typology and copper archaeometallurgy; analysis of exchange networks between southern Mesopotamia and Magan through an integrated archaeometric approach.
Involvement in Research Projects
- PRIN "The Price of Progress" (2024–2026). Project member, funded by the European Union (Next Generation EU), on human-environment interactions in the Levant between 3500 and 2000 BCE; Research Coordinator: Prof. Sara Pizzimenti (University of Pisa).
- MIRCAP Project (2021–2022). Scientific Expert for the Université Toulouse-Jean Jaurès, contributing to the harmonization of data on the pre-Islamic Arabian Peninsula on a collaborative platform. Research Coordinator: Prof. Saba Farés.
- Preventive and Digital Archaeology (PDA) now About Heritage by PDA, (2021–2024). Senior Archaeologist Consultant for the company.

- Lagash Archaeological Project (Iraq, 2022–present). Area Supervisor and Ceramic Specialist, directed by Prof. Holly Pittman (Penn University)
- Al-Tikha Mission (Oman, 2022–present). Assistant Director and Archaeological Supervisor for Areas S1 and S9, directed by Prof. Sara Pizzimenti and Prof. Khaled Douglas.
- Karkemish Mission (Turkey, 2024–2025). Senior Archaeologist and Pottery Expert, deep soundings in Areas AA and HH, directed by Prof. Nicolò Marchetti (University of Bologna).
- Banbhore Mission (Pakistan, 2024–present). Archaeometallurgy Specialist, Italian-Pakistani mission, directed by Prof. Olivieri (ISMEO) and Prof. Fusaro (Unistrasi).
- Wadi Sfar / Wadi Hanifa Projects (Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, 2020–2023). Project Assistant Coordinator and Archaeological and Survey Supervisor across four projects (survey and excavation at Wadi Sfar; survey and excavation at Wadi Hanifa), sponsored by the Diriyah Gate Development Authority, Scientific Director Prof. Saba Fares (Toulouse University).
